Introduction to iRest Yoga Nidra


This is an introductory class to iRest® Yoga Nidra.

In this class we will:

  • Go through the basic principles and steps of iRest Yoga Nidra.
  • Do a deeply relaxing iRest Yoga Nidra meditation practice.
  • You will also get a recording of the practice for your own use.

iRest Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing meditative practise. It can help with sleeping issues, anxiety, stress or pains. You don’t need any experience or special skills to practice yoga nidra. All you need to do is lie down and listen as the teacher guides you into a meditative state in which you are neither awake nor asleep, but your body is at rest.

You will need warm clothes and blankets and preferably a bolster for the practice. At the studio there are yoga mats you can use as well as some blankets and bolsters in case you don’t wish to bring your own.
